Byron Belitsos is author of Truths About Evil, Sin, and Iniquity (Wipf & Stock, 2023), a treatise on the history of Christian theodicy and one of the first scholarly books from an academic publisher to provide in-depth analysis of the Urantia teaching. He is also the general editor and publisher of Reason and Revelation (Origin Press, 2024), the first collection of essays authored by scholars and researchers about the Urantia Book, and chief editor and publisher of the International Journal of Urantia Book Studies. Belitsos has been an award-winning book publisher as well as author or co-author of many general-interest titles related to the Urantia revelation, including The Center Within (1998); One World Democracy (2005); The Adventure of Being Human (2012); and Your Evolving Soul: The Cosmic Spirituality of the Urantia Revelation (2017), winner of a Nautilus Silver Award in Philosophy. He holds a B.A. in history of ideas from the University of Chicago and an M.A. in systematic theology from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, and also pursued graduate studies in history of religion at University of California (Santa Cruz) and California Institute of Integral Studies.
